New European warranty specialist International Warranty Solutions launched

CarGarantie and Car Care Plan build on existing cooperation to provide pan-European and global capa-bilities

Uniform European standards for warranty and service programmes are bringing greater efficiency to manufacturers and importers as their operations become increasingly international. The newly-founded insurance specialist International Warranty Solutions (IWS) offers precisely such European solutions.

IWS is a cooperation between the two leading specialist insurance providers CG Car-Garantie Versicherungs-AG and Car Care Plan. The new company offers all-round solutions for vehicle warranty and service programmes. What makes this venture so unique is the experienced team and the long-standing relationship between the two business partners, this allows IWS to combine international scale with niche local know-how. This enables IWS to act as a single point of contact offering pan-European and global programmes that are also tailored to the specific needs of its partners and the unique demands of individual markets. IWS partners can rely on the same standards and high levels of quality being applied in every country. The partnership is based on 24,000 dealerships and 48 manufacturers in 27 countries.

The services provided by IWS encompass warranty and service programmes, including innovative and digital product development, marketing consultancy, sales support or claims handling. Its industry-leading technology, multi-lingual team and extensive field-proven warranty products allow IWS customers to achieve significant turnover gains and also decisively increase customer loyalty and satisfaction.

Marcel De Rycker, Managing Director International Warranty Solutions:

“A number of inquiries from manufacturers and importers and the high potential that the market has to offer led us to launch a pan-European and global warranty and service provider. The feedback we received from talks with potential international customers confirmed our belief that we could make a success of such a venture. We are confident that our well-designed products and services, long-standing experience and extensive expertise will prove to be of exceptional value to the industry.”

Axel Berger, Chief Executive Officer CarGarantie, and Paul Newton, Chief Executive Officer Car Care Plan:

“The joint venture will allow us to provide even greater area-wide programmes in the future and thus cater to our customers’ needs and requirements even more than before. By being able to draw on the experience, geographical outreach and sales and marketing of both firms, our contract partners have the opportunity to make use of globally standardised offers.”
